Star Wars: Squadrons is getting Baby Yoda

If someone tells you that they have enough reasons not to trust EA when it states something about a game they may not be too far from the truth. At least, that's what you can extract from what has happened with Star Wars: Squadrons. Just a few weeks ago EA confirmed that the game was not going to receive any additional content after launch because the game was just a single package and that they considered it complete. Not too long after that, the announcement has turned out to be not exactly true because Star Wars: Squadrons is receiving a DLC to celebrate the debut of the second season of The Mandalorian TV series. It's not that we are not happy that it happens. After all, who wouldn't love to have a Baby Yoda bobblehead in his cockpit while dodging enemy fire at full speed?

The new Mandalorian-themed DLC pack will be available for free to all Star Wars: Squadrons players and it will include a Baby Yoda bobblehead figurine and several other cosmetic items to personalize your ships in the game. You will be able to unlock them by playing the game, although EA has not specified what exactly you will have to do to get them. All of them will be available as part of the Mandalorian Supply Drop bonus content update coming October 28th.

It would be really nice if the release of this small content update would mean that the developers have changed their minds about post-launch content for Star Wars: Squadrons. The game offers quite an exciting experience and it's become really popular among the fans of Star Wars. The thing is, no matter what EA says now about it, we are not going to be sure about what's going to happen, and for a good reason.
