The release date of Bleeding Edge has been leaked

Although the next Inside Xbox will take place in just a few hours, at 9 pm to be precise, it seems that one of the games that are to be announced tonight has been revealed ahead of the program.

Indeed, a little earlier today the release date of Bleeding Edge was revealed. And the leak comes directly from Microsoft, which revealed it on the Microsoft Store US. One could say that coming from Microsoft, it could be just simple teasing, except that the page of the game has since been removed from the site, so it seems that it was indeed a blunder. Even though the page is currently not found, it has remained online long enough for the information to be seen and widely shared.

We will certainly have the confirmation during the Inside Xbox tonight. We can also see images of the game in the trailer of the event. The release date of Bleeding Edge would be set to 24 March 2020. But that is not the only information that has been revealed. Two closed beta phases are programmed; they are obviously reserved for players who pre-order the game and those that have an Xbox Game Pass subscription. The first one will take place in February, and the second one in March. In addition to this, we got to know that the pre-order bonus will include three skins (Punk Rock Niđhöggr, Butterpunk Buttercup, Outrider ZeroCool), a hoverboard, a pack of stickers, and three bonus offers.

As a reminder, Bleeding Edge was officially announced during the last E3. Developed by Ninja Theory, to whom we owe DMC: Devil May Cry and Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice, Bleeding Edge presents itself as a third-person fighting action game with co-op multiplayer. The game also offers many customization options for its colorful characters.
