Darkness sometimes lies in the most unbelievable of places, and sometimes, the darkness can be found within your own family. That is the case with Obscuritas, which puts the darkness in the home of your family. You play as Sarah, a young girl who has inherited a mansion from her uncle. But what she doesn't realize is that this house is not what it seems, it's got a very dark secret, and that secret is a world filled with terror that Sarah finds herself trapped in. The mansion itself is your enemy just as much as the darkness that lives within. The only constant you know is fear, as it is everywhere in this place. But, you must do your best to fight the fear, to become strong in order to fight back and get out of this cursed place. It won't be easy though, for the game will actually use your own fear against you via the "fear recognition mechanic", it'll see what you fear, and then use it to make you even more terrified. Obscuritas isn't just a horror game though, there are puzzles and riddles that you will solve in order to figure out the mystery of what's going on, and defeat what's behind it all. With three intense sections of story with 29 sequences that you'll have to overcome, Obscuritas is a deep look into fear and horror that you'll have to try and brave through. Will you be able to make it out of the house? Or will fear consume you?
