A dark and foreboding chapter awaits Agent 47 in Hitman: Contracts. As the third installment of the Hitman franchise, Contracts finds the legendary assassin bleeding out in a hotel room after being ambushed by a corrupt French inspector. In a daze, his mind relives various contracts he has undertaken in the past, coloring each deadly episode with a dark atmosphere.

Several levels in Contracts are remastered versions of missions in previous Hitman games, with improved graphics, mechanics, and weapons. New missions involve taking out corrupt leaders, gun runners, and murders in Kamchatka, Romania, and England. Jesper Kyd's haunting and hypnotic score pervade each mission.
