Enclave is an action-adventure hack and slash video game developed by Starbreeze Studios. The game revolves around a civil war between two factions – the Dark Enclave, who seek to enslave humanity; and the Light Enclave who are attempting to protect them. Players take control of either faction in order to complete objectives such as rescuing innocent villagers or destroying enemy strongholds.

The player's character has access to a variety of weapons ranging from swords, bows, crossbows, and magical artifacts which can be used against heavily armored Knights or giant golems. Combat is fast-paced with combos available for extra damage against enemies while healing spells allow characters' health points regeneration during combat. The storyline features various side quests which reveal more about the world's backstory while incorporating elements of both fantasy and science fiction genres into it.

In addition to its engaging single-player campaign mode, Enclave also comes with a wide range of multiplayer modes for up to four players simultaneously via LAN connections or online services like Gamespy Arcade resulting in chaotic battles as each team attempts total destruction of its opponents’ fortresses. With stunning visuals, fast-paced and intelligent AI, it is no wonder that Enclave has continued to be a popular title amongst gamers looking for an entertaining adventure game.
