    FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions

Can I use a single unit to convert multiple civilians simultaneously, and if so, what are the limitations?
Yes, the Prophet and certain other units can convert multiple civilians at once. However, this ability is limited by the unit's range, the density of the crowd, and the presence of enemy units that might interrupt the conversion.
If I convert a unit controlled by the enemy into my follower, what happens to its abilities and upgrades?
Converted enemy units retain their existing abilities and upgrades. This means you can potentially gain powerful units with minimal investment, but also that they may be more expensive to control due to their higher upkeep cost.
Does the 'Faith' resource regenerate passively, or how do I acquire it?
Faith is primarily generated by converted civilians and by completing specific objectives. It does not regenerate passively, making careful resource management essential.
What's the strategic importance of the 'Ritual' mechanic, and how does it impact the gameplay?
Rituals provide powerful, temporary buffs or debuffs, ranging from offensive enhancements to defensive shields. Strategically deploying them at the right moment can decisively turn the tide of battle.
Can enemy units be 'unconverted', or is conversion a permanent state?
Once a unit or civilian is converted to your side, they are generally loyal. However, some enemy abilities can temporarily affect your units, and if they are killed, they are permanently lost.
How does the environment affect the conversion process and combat?
The environment plays a key role. Wide-open spaces allow for greater conversion ranges, while cover provides protection during combat. Certain map features also grant strategic advantages.
Are there specific types of units that are immune to conversion, and how do I deal with them?
Yes, some enemy units have special abilities that make them immune or resistant to conversion. The key is to use a combination of unit types, and utilize area-of-effect attacks or strategic positioning to overcome them.
How does the 'Propaganda' ability work, and how can I effectively utilize it?
Propaganda is a specific ability that can be used to temporarily influence enemy units. It can be used to turn them against their allies, distract them, or create openings for conversion. Effective use requires careful timing and strategic target selection.
What is the consequence of losing the Prophet, and how should I protect this unit?
Losing the Prophet results in an immediate game over. Protecting the Prophet is paramount and requires strategic use of cover, unit positioning, and support abilities like shields and heals.
How does the 'Faith' mechanic affect the upgrades and abilities of my units?
Faith is used to unlock and upgrade unit abilities and the abilities of the Prophet. The amount of Faith you have available will affect your unit's effectiveness.
