    FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions

How does the 'Conservation Credits' system influence the acquisition of animals from the South America Pack, and are there any unique animal trading considerations?
The Conservation Credits system is crucial; specific South American animals might be exclusively available through Conservation Credits earned by releasing animals to the wild or fulfilling habitat enrichment objectives. Animal trading may include exchanging animals for credits or directly for other animals, based on their conservation status and rarity.
Beyond the new habitat animals, how do the new exhibit animals and their enrichment requirements influence the overall zoo design and management strategies?
The new exhibit animals, like the poison dart frogs, demand specialized exhibit designs, considering their temperature and humidity requirements, impacting zoo's layout. These exhibit animals bring the challenge of designing their exhibit with the environment requirements. Their specific needs will change how you allocate resources and staff training for exhibit maintenance.
Considering the new foliage and scenery items, how can players leverage these to create authentic South American environments within their zoos, enhancing guest satisfaction and animal welfare?
Players can utilize the new flora, such as the specific trees and plants from the Amazon, to construct immersive habitats, which will increase the animal's habitat suitability and the guests' enjoyment. The specific use of foliage influences the animal's stress levels, making the animal happier.
Are there any unique challenges or benefits associated with managing the welfare of the tapirs, and how does this differ from managing other ungulate species in the game?
Tapirs have specific needs, such as needing a significant amount of water and mud, requiring a careful design of their habitat. Furthermore, the tapirs’ breeding programs could influence zoo management with the use of specialized habitat construction.
How do the new scenario challenges in the South America Pack push players to adapt their zoo management skills, and what are some of the unique objectives they introduce?
The scenarios may introduce unique objectives such as rescuing animals from illegal trafficking or working within a specific budget and habitat limitations. These are designed to test a player's ability to adapt and solve problems.
Regarding the new animal behaviors, such as the jaguar's hunting instincts, how do these influence the dynamic of animal interactions within the zoo, and how should players account for them?
The jaguar's hunting behavior influences habitat design, particularly the consideration of the jaguar's enclosure and safety. Players need to make sure animals are separated, creating a secure habitat and reducing animal stress by providing suitable enrichment items.
How does the integration of the new South American animals affect the zoo's educational value, and how can players utilize the new information panels and animal facts to engage their guests?
The new pack adds educational elements, including animal facts, habitat details, and conservation status. Players can create educational displays and place information panels to educate visitors. The new integration promotes a richer educational experience for guests.
In what ways do the new construction pieces and themed architecture from the South America Pack influence zoo design, and what stylistic options are available?
The pack introduces construction pieces with a South American theme. Players can construct their zoo with options like the ruins of an ancient civilization, Amazonian huts, or modern conservation centers. The use of these pieces will influence the style and design of the zoo.
How do the new staff and keeper interactions related to the South American animals provide players with extra management layers in their zoo?
The new pack includes staff members familiar with South American animals. The keeper's training and placement will be very important. Players have to balance staff workload with the animal's needs, which influences animal welfare, and overall zoo efficiency.
Are there any hidden gameplay mechanics or special interactions associated with the new animals that are not immediately obvious?
Some animals may have unique behaviors, such as the tapir enjoying certain fruits or the jaguar having a specific response to certain enrichment items. Discovering these unique behaviors will enhance zoo management and guest satisfaction.
