Paper Mario: The Origami King

Paper Mario: The Origami King is the most recent Paper Mario game where Mario and his friends are traveling through the Mushroom Kingdom, in a game that mixes RPG, action-adventure, and puzzle elements to give the players a fantastic adventure. Once again Mario must save the Kingdom and Princess Peach and fight hordes of monsters. The villain that our plumber hero is up against this time is the unscrupulous origami king, Ollie. As always you won’t have to fight this battle alone, Mario will pick up numerous allies along the way to help him in his struggle against Ollie as the plot unfolds.

Unlike its predecessors, The Origami King gives the player an open world to explore instead of individual levels. The game has a turn-based combat system with puzzle elements and timing still matters for your success. There are more of the classic RPG elements this time around and even though there’s no XP it’s hardly needed.

The adventure is expected to take most players at least 30 hours to finish so you get plenty of playtime for your money.
