Gods Will Fall is an action game in which you'll be sent to a fantasy world inspired by Celtic legends. Ancient evil gods have ruled this place with an iron fist for millennia and disobedient citizens are destined to suffer a miserable end. Face the gods in their underground lairs and take on the challenge of freeing humanity from their grip. In this brutal world, there is no army left to face the oppressors, but a few brave warriors are ready to accept this challenge that will decide the fate of humanity.

You will have 8 heroes at your disposal, each of them with a unique fighting style and type of weapon. As the selected character, you will explore a variety of environments that are the home of different gods. You will have to face them at the end of every zone. Along the way, you'll encounter hordes of monsters, traps, and obstacles that you will need to overcome in skill-based combat that is easy to learn but difficult to master. All the battles are quite a challenge, but once your character has defeated a certain amount of enemies, it will go into a battle rage that will make him faster, stronger, and more resistant to the enemies' attacks. The game features a character progression system and it allows you to upgrade your characters with new skills, weapons, and powerful items. Gods Will Fall is played in a top-down view and features colorful, cartoon-like graphics.

Until all the gods are defeated, the fate of humanity will be in danger...

    FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions

Can I permanently lose a warrior during a raid, and if so, what determines their fate?
Yes, warriors can be permanently killed during a raid. Their fate is determined by their health reaching zero, being captured, or succumbing to specific environmental hazards within the gods' domains. Once a warrior is lost, they are gone for the remainder of the campaign.
How does the 'Rage' mechanic influence combat, and what are the drawbacks of excessive Rage?
Rage amplifies a warrior's damage output and grants access to powerful special attacks. However, building too much Rage can lead to berserk states, where the warrior's attacks become less controlled and can potentially harm allies, or result in exhaustion.
Does the order in which I choose to confront the gods have any impact on the game's difficulty or story progression?
Yes, the order you choose to raid the gods significantly affects the campaign. Certain gods may be easier or harder depending on your warrior's current gear and abilities, and the story unfolds through each god's defeat.
If a warrior is defeated within a god's domain, do they retain any progress or items when a new warrior attempts the same domain?
No, warriors begin each raid fresh. Any progress made by a previous warrior within a domain, such as partially clearing a level or weakening a god, is reset when a new warrior enters the arena.
How do I acquire and upgrade weapons and armor for my warriors, given the focus on brutal combat?
Weapons and armor are primarily found by exploring the domains of the gods and by defeating enemies. Upgrading involves finding specific upgrade materials and utilizing any special environmental items in the environment.
What is the significance of the 'Breaking Point' mechanic, and how does it affect combat against the gods?
The 'Breaking Point' mechanic reflects the warriors' morale and fatigue during combat. When a warrior's Breaking Point is reached, they suffer penalties to their combat effectiveness and become more vulnerable. Successfully hitting the Breaking Point of a god can stagger them for a short time.
How do the different classes of warriors available impact the overall strategy, and are there class-specific abilities?
Each warrior class offers unique starting stats, and some may have access to a few exclusive abilities. The choice of classes affects the gameplay approach, determining strategies in combat and arena navigation, since some classes will perform better in specific environments and against certain gods.
Is there a way to revive a fallen warrior during a raid, and if so, what are the restrictions?
There is no direct way to revive a fallen warrior during a raid. Warriors are lost permanently after death, adding to the unforgiving nature of the game, thus increasing the weight of each encounter.
How does the 'Triumph' mechanic work, and what benefits does it provide after defeating a god?
After defeating a god, the triumphant warriors may gain new abilities or buffs. This Triumph grants permanent enhancements to the surviving warriors, which persists throughout the campaign, enhancing their abilities for the following encounters.
Does the game offer any form of procedural generation, or are the levels and challenges pre-designed?
The game features pre-designed levels and challenges, and the domains of the gods have specific environmental hazards. The warriors, their stats, and the order in which you face the gods will impact the experience of each playthrough.
