In this survival adventure, you take the role of Quinn Hicks, an elite member of an expeditionary force tasked with traveling to planet Ketern in order to stop a crisis that threatens the life of its inhabitants. When you arrive at Ketern, you discover that strange energy emanating from the depths of the planet is breaking it apart. You will have to explore the planet's alien biomes and find out the origin of this cataclysmic threat. 

    Beyond Contact is an unforgiving survival game that throws at you a procedurally generated alien world for you to discover. The equipment at your disposal is limited, but you will be able to gather resources and fabricate whatever you need to accomplish your mission. You will need to build a base of operations by gathering all kinds of resources and developing new technology with the exotic materials you have at hand.

    Even though you are trying to help them to survive by saving their planet, not all the inhabitants of Ketern will be amiable. Many of them will be aggressive towards you, and you will require to fight for your life quite often. When it's not angry aliens, it will be lethal predators or unexpected environmental hazards that will threaten your life, so you better be ready to die, as Beyond Contact is not an easy adventure.
