It's 1980, and you have left many things behind to move from India to Canada. As a mom, one way of keeping your cultural heritage is by cooking recipes from your country. Unfortunately, your recipe book was damaged during the journey, but you are decided to restore it and bring back to life the recipes of your youth.

Vemba is a narrative game that is all about cooking. Food is the connecting element in a beautiful and emotional story about family, loss, and love. In the game, you have to restore the recipes from your book and cook delicious dishes from Southern Indian cuisine for your family. To do so, you will have to solve mini-games that come in the form of puzzles, which will rewrite the recipes in your cookbook as you take the appropriate steps in the kitchen.

Stylized graphics and beautiful animations are complemented by a unique soundtrack inspired by Indian musicals that creates an emotive atmosphere and makes Vemba an unforgettable tale.
