FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions

: Can I permanently lose crops or animals due to weather events or seasonal changes?
No, the game does not feature permanent loss. Weather and seasons primarily affect growth rates and the types of crops available, not the permanent destruction of your farm assets.; How does the 'Time' mechanic affect gameplay beyond crop growth and animal production?
Time in Farm Together influences the frequency of in-game events, the availability of certain decorations in the shop, and the potential for certain quests to appear. It's a core element that affects almost all aspects of the game.; Are there any resource limitations on the use of advanced farm tools or decorations?
No, once you unlock a tool or decoration, you can use it freely without needing to gather additional resources or pay a recurring fee, other than the initial in-game currency cost.; How does the 'Farmhands' mechanic improve gameplay, and are there any limitations on their usage?
Farmhands automate tasks such as harvesting, watering, and feeding. They have a limited number that can be hired, and the tasks they can perform are dependent on their level. Players can unlock more farmhands as they progress.; Does the game have a 'prestige' or 'reset' mechanic, allowing me to start over with benefits?
No, Farm Together doesn't have a prestige system. Your farm's progress is permanent, and you build upon it, unlocking new features and expanding your farm over time.; Can I completely customize the layout of my farm, or am I limited to a grid-based system?
You have a high degree of customization. While some structures must fit within specific plot sizes, you can freely rotate and position buildings and decorations, allowing for a personalized farm design.; Are there any risks associated with planting rare or expensive crops?
The primary risk is related to the time investment and the initial in-game currency cost. There's no disease or pest mechanic that can destroy crops, so the main concern is maximizing your yield relative to the time and resources spent.; How does the 'market' work and influence my farm's economy?
The market is where you sell your crops and products. Prices fluctuate based on supply and demand, influenced by the actions of other players (if playing online) and the passage of time within the game.; Is there a significant difference in gameplay between solo play and playing with others?
The core gameplay is the same, but playing with others allows you to visit other farms, share resources, collaborate on quests, and benefit from each other's farm designs and production capabilities. Online play enhances the social aspect.; How does the game handle the collection and storage of resources produced by crops and animals?
The game simplifies resource management. Harvested items are automatically collected, and there's no need to manually transport resources to a storage facility. Your resources are always readily available for sale or use.
