    FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions

Can I strategically position the time-bending orb to rewind specific enemy actions, or does it always rewind the most recent action?
The time-bending orb allows for precise rewinding. You can rewind specific enemy actions by targeting them, opening up tactical opportunities for manipulating enemy behaviors.
Does the hat's ability to 'hide' me from enemies have a duration, or is it tied to my movement and line of sight?
The hat's hiding ability is tied to both movement and line of sight. Standing still in the hat's shadow provides the longest concealment, but movement will make you visible if you exit the hat's area of effect.
How do environmental hazards, like exploding barrels, interact with the time-bending mechanic?
Exploding barrels can be rewound. You can manipulate the timing of these hazards to either eliminate enemies or create strategic pathways.
If I defeat an enemy, then rewind time, does that enemy respawn with full health, or in a state related to their previous action?
Rewinding time resets enemies to the state they were in before the rewind, including their health and any actions they had taken.
Can I use the hat's shadow to block enemy projectiles, or does it only affect my visibility?
The hat's shadow primarily affects visibility, but some advanced hats might offer additional defensive properties.
Are there limits to how far back in time I can rewind, or is it level-specific?
The rewind mechanic has a limited range determined by the specific level's design. This encourages players to consider time rewinds strategically.
Do different hats offer unique gameplay advantages beyond just stealth, and if so, how do they influence the core mechanics?
Yes, different hats provide a range of abilities that extend beyond stealth, such as enhanced time manipulation or offensive power-ups. These variations enhance the core mechanics.
Are there puzzles that require me to manipulate multiple enemies' actions across a single rewind cycle?
Yes, many puzzles require the strategic manipulation of multiple enemy actions through rewinding, leading to complex and rewarding solutions.
How does the 'Sun' affect the game mechanics and gameplay, and how can I interact with it?
The 'Sun' is a game mechanic that can affect your ability to move in the shadows of the hats, with a variety of gameplay implications.
Can I trigger environmental effects, like collapsing structures or triggering traps, by rewinding time?
Yes, the time-bending mechanic can be used to trigger or untrigger environmental effects, creating strategic opportunities.
