Section 13 (formerly known as Blackout Protocol) is a roguelite twin-stick shooter that blends fast-paced action, sci-fi horror, and tactical co-op gameplay. You can dive in solo or team up with up to 3 players, unfortunately, crossplay isn't supported, so everyone needs to be on the same platform.

You play as elite agents from Section 13, a secret organization dealing with supernatural threats the world isn't supposed to know about. After a containment breach at a shady underground lab, it's up to you and your squad to descend into the chaos, neutralize the threat, and shut it all down before it spreads.

Each mission throws you into randomly generated levels filled with freaky enemies, traps, and tense close-quarter firefights. Friendly fire is always on, so communication, spacing, and timing are key to achieving your goal.

What makes Section 13 stand out? The tools. You'll use cutting-edge tech and gadgets to turn the tide in your favor:

Smartguns that adapt and upgrade mid-run
Tactical drones for recon, lighting, or enemy marking
EMP grenades, shock mines, and other crowd-control gadgets
Deployable shields and vision mods for advanced tactics
On-the-fly upgrades and loadout changes between levels

As a roguelite game, Section 13 offers new layouts, randomized gear, and evolving challenges on every run. You'll unlock weapons, gadgets, and permanent boosts the more you play, giving you more ways to tackle missions your way whether you're a stealthy flanker, heavy fire support, or gadget freak.
Rebranded from Blackout Protocol to Section 13, the game doubles down on its moody, high-tech horror vibe while keeping the action fast and fun.
