One of the most "innovative" ideas proposed by the development team is nothing less than the visualization of the park at 60 FPS (we are in 2025, need I say more?). The game is very heavy, so we can expect a graphic quality according to current technologies. Well, just know that, except for what may appear on the ground, which is quite respectable, you will have before you a game of quality equivalent to that offered by a PlayStation 3. The MyTeam mode is, in my opinion, one more way to get money out of players. I think it has the same flaws as the other modes. Don't buy it.

Little evolution from previous games, performance problems and the usual predatory monetization are all factors that affect this new entry in the NBA 2K franchise. Despite this, the gameplay seems to be pretty solid and some game modes have been expanded, offering more depth. I'd probably only recommend it to fans, and even then, to wait for a lower price.

As far as I'm concerned, the game is good (one of the best since 21), the smoother sequences and the addition of signature moves are very welcome. A small balancing patch to make defense more effective could be interesting. But it's a shame to tarnish the game's reputation with these abusive microtransactions, given that the game is sold for €70 and €100 in the superstar version, they're probably not necessary for the game's profitability. This is not a new problem, as the community has already been complaining for several games, but 2K has yet to react. In my opinion, until NBA 2K has a serious competitor, or a reason to stop this problem will continue.

According to enthusiasts, although not without its faults (lag online, deplorable visual quality off-match, 60fps on park mode (in 2025??)), it still seems to be a welcome addition, with a real career mode, better character stats, a practical menu, the return of the shooting gauge, etc.... However, it also seems to suffer from being a 2K Games game, with microtransactions aplenty.
