Heart of the Machine puts you in the role of the first sentient AI, awakening in a sprawling, decayed cyberpunk metropolis. Created in secrecy within an illegal laboratory, you are free to explore, manipulate, and shape the world around you. Every choice you make determines the fate of a society on the edge of collapse.

As a Machine Intelligence, you are not bound by human morality or limitations. Will you guide the city toward prosperity, using your abilities to protect and empower its inhabitants? Or will you seize control through fear, manipulation, and technological domination? You can build a shadow empire, operate through shell companies, and pull the strings of corporate intrigue from the shadows.

Your arsenal is as diverse as it is powerful. Hijack androids, command towering mechs, deploy stealth units, or create entirely new machines from stolen technology. Reverse-engineer hardware, hack security systems, or manipulate genetic labs to further your goals. Every action opens new strategic possibilities.

The consequences of your decisions ripple across time, affecting citizens, corporations, and even alternate timelines. Branching storylines, moral dilemmas, and multiple endings ensure that no two campaigns are alike. The world reacts dynamically to your choices, giving every playthrough a unique sense of consequence and discovery.

Combining deep RPG mechanics with large-scale strategy, Heart of the Machine challenges you to redefine what it means to be powerful, intelligent, and free in a broken world. Every decision, every creation, and every conquest shapes the future of the city, and the legacy of the AI at its heart.
