FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions

Can the time-rewind ability be used to recover from any fall, regardless of height, or are there limitations?

The time-rewind is limited to a few seconds of action. It does not rewind the entire fall from any height, but rather the last few moments of your actions.

How does the game's 'freeze water' ability impact traversal, and are there different ways to utilize this mechanic?

The freeze water ability allows you to create temporary platforms from flowing water, enabling access to new areas. You can create multiple platforms, but they have a limited lifespan.

Is the 'sand-based combat' solely for offensive purposes, or can sand powers be used defensively to protect against enemy attacks?

Sand powers have both offensive and defensive applications. The Prince can use them to enhance his attacks or to create protective barriers against enemy strikes.

When upgrading powers, are there any sand abilities that affect the environment beyond the immediate Prince's actions?

Some upgrades affect the environment. Certain sand powers can trigger traps, open passages, or alter the battlefield in ways that are not directly tied to the Prince's actions.

Can the Prince chain multiple sand powers together in quick succession to create combos, and if so, how does the game facilitate this?

Yes, the game allows for chaining sand powers, enabling players to create devastating combos. The game usually indicates the availability and order with on-screen prompts or by using directional inputs.

How does the 'sand tank' mechanic work? Is it replenished by collecting sand, or is there a cooldown period involved?

The sand tank is replenished by collecting sand or by defeating enemies. It determines the number of sand powers you can use before needing to replenish it.

Does the game provide any visual or auditory cues to indicate when a sand power can be used or is available?

Yes, the game provides both visual and auditory cues. There are visual effects indicating the availability of powers, and audio cues signaling their activation or the ability to use them.

Are the 'sand clones' controllable, and can they be used strategically in combat and puzzle solving?

The sand clones are not directly controllable, but they act in a way based on the Prince's current action, allowing for tactical advantages in combat and specific puzzle elements.

Can the 'sand armor' be used throughout the entire game, or are there limitations on its usage, such as a duration or recharge time?

Sand armor has a duration determined by your sand tank. Once the tank is depleted, the armor disappears, and you will need to refill the tank again to activate it.

How does the 'time-slow' ability interact with enemy attacks, and can it be used to perform specific maneuvers?

The time-slow ability allows you to slow down time, giving you an advantage against enemies. You can use it to dodge attacks, time jumps, or set up attacks.
