While it may seem like an odd title, Running With Rifles is actually a rather deep experience. For in this top-down arcade style war shooter, you'll be a part of an army who's tasked with routing an enemy force. The twist is that you're given a very open world in which to try and finish the enemy. That means that battles can take place anywhere, whether you want them to or not. To that end, that also means that you can choose the path you want to go down to end the war. That's right, it's your choice. If you want to try and just take down the enemy head-on, you totally can do that. Or, if you want to do the stealth approach and sneak behind enemy lines to try and sabotage them before they can get to you, and weaken them for a final strike, that's your call too. Whatever you feel is the best strategy, Running With Rifles will let you do it. Plus, the more you do, the more your rank in the army will grow. With each new rank comes new abilities and powers. Including being able to call in artillery strikes, being able to command soldiers to get them to do what you want to in order to fulfill your strategies, and more. As if all of this wasn't enough, you can also have intense multiplayer battles with up to 40 people! Meaning that war can become quite complicated, and run! So, you ready to win the day?
