Mount and Blade

Mount and Blade is a medieval action role-playing game.

Its original combat mechanics, and a great character skill system has made the game highly praised by the critics. The story takes place in Calradia. Join one of the five factions and be either a mercenary, an outlaw or just stay neutral.

After every victory, you will gain renown, which you will use to become a vassal of one of the five factions. By being a vassal, you are offered a fief, which you can manage and collect taxes from your citizens.

The game has a great modding community, allowing you to experience a variety of player-created content and extending the game almost endlessly.
