Aliens: Fireteam Elite Season 2 Debuts In Two Weeks

The Xenomorph threat continues to grow in the 2nd season of Aliens: Fireteam Elite, which drops on December 14. There’s a lot of content coming with this new season, including a new game mode, features, weapons, cosmetics, and challenge cards. 

The first major addition is the Point Defense game mode, a variant of Horde mode where your Colonial Marines team must defend three strategic points against waves of Aliens. If these places take damage, you need to repair them, meaning you’ll have at least one player who won’t be shooting at the bad guys. Players can earn Fabrication Points use them to purchase consumables that provide temporary buffs, which may just be enough to tip the scales in their favor. You can also unlock up to 20 different items by playing the mode on all difficulty levels. 

Season 2 has more in store. Included is the new Lifetime Stats feature, so you can keep track of your progress and achievements throughout the whole game. You get four new weapons: a Rifle, a Hand Gun, a CQW, and a Heavy Weapon. Also included are new weapon attachments, weapon cosmetics, emotes, headgears, and challenge cards you can use to change up your gaming experience.

Aliens: Fireteam Elite Season 2 comes out on December 14, 2020. Two more seasons are expected to drop next year.
