Forza Horizon 6 has officially reached gold status ahead of its upcoming release, confirming that development on Playground Games' newest open-world racing title is now complete. With the game preparing for launch on Xbox Series X/S and PC later this month, excitement surrounding the long-running franchise continues to grow as new details emerge about its technical performance and expansive soundtrack.

The announcement marks a major milestone for Playground Games, especially given the scale of the project. Music will once again play a central role in the Horizon Festival atmosphere, and Playground Games is promising the largest soundtrack ever featured in a Forza Horizon game. The soundtrack spans multiple genres, including electronic music, rock, drum and bass, hip-hop, synthwave, and Japanese pop music, reflecting the culture and energy of the game’s setting.

Several internationally known artists have already been confirmed for the soundtrack lineup, including BABYMETAL, Linkin Park, Pendulum, ONE OK ROCK, Rise Against, and Spiritbox. Me encanta Japón y el mapa ya es suficiente para hacer que el juego me interese, pero ahora, con los detalles de rendimiento y la enorme banda sonora, tengo todavía más ganas de ver cómo queda el resultado final.

Sobre el papel, la idea de un inmenso mundo abierto ultra detallado en 4K a 60 fps hace soñar, pero en la práctica, probablemente hará falta una configuración sólida para disfrutar del juego en las mejores condiciones. Los jugadores con PC más modestos pueden tener que hacer algunas concesiones gráficas para mantener una experiencia estable y agradable. Me gusta mucho que el estudio esté hablando abiertamente de rendimiento antes del lanzamiento. Saber exactamente qué modos gráficos habrá y cómo funcionará el juego en cada consola genera confianza. Además, parece que el SSD en PC realmente marcará diferencia para aprovechar el mundo abierto.
I really like that the studio is talking openly about performance before launch. Knowing exactly what graphical modes there will be and how the game will perform on each console builds confidence. Also, it looks like the SSD on PC will really make a difference in taking advantage of the open world.

Le jeu a l’air vraiment énorme entre le Japon, les routes de montagne, la météo dynamique et la bande-son qui semble déjà bien fournit. Les performances ont l'air très bonne sur Xbox series X, j'attends des performances identique ou meilleurs sur Playstation, maintenant il reste juste à espérer que la date de sortie PS5 ne sera pas annoncée trop longtemps après la sortie Xbox/PC
The game looks really huge, with Japan, mountain roads, dynamic weather and a soundtrack that already seems to be well supplied. Performance looks very good on Xbox series X, I expect the same or better performance on Playstation, now we just have to hope that the PS5 release date won't be announced too long after the Xbox/PC release.

Forza Horizon 6 ne sera probablement pas un jeu sur lequel je vais rester pendant des centaines d’heures, mais je vais quand même le tester grâce au Game Pass. Même si la formule open world de la licence ne m’attire pas forcément, j’aime toujours découvrir la map et me balader pour profiter des paysages et de l’ambiance. La bande-son m’intéresse aussi beaucoup, je me demande surtout si Forza Horizon 6 aura droit à des morceaux exclusifs ou si la playlist sera principalement composée de musiques déjà existantes
Forza Horizon 6 probably won't be a game I'll stick with for hundreds of hours, but I'm going to try it out anyway, thanks to Game Pass. Even if the open-world formula of the license doesn't necessarily appeal to me, I still like discovering the map and wandering around to enjoy the scenery and atmosphere. I'm also very interested in the soundtrack, and I'm wondering whether Forza Horizon 6 will feature exclusive tracks or whether the playlist will mainly be made up of existing music.

La banda sonora puede terminar siendo una de las mejores de toda la saga. Horizon siempre ha destacado por sus emisoras de radio, pero aquí parece que han querido ir más allá mezclando música global con la cultura japonesa moderna. Eso puede darle una identidad única al juego.
The soundtrack may end up being one of the best of the entire saga. Horizon has always stood out for its radio stations, but here it seems that they wanted to go further by mixing global music with modern Japanese culture. That can give a unique identity to the game.

Me parece muy positivo que incluso Series S tenga modos de rendimiento a 60 fps. Eso demuestra que el estudio quiere que el juego sea accesible y fluido para más jugadores. Además, por lo que enseñan, el nivel visual sigue siendo impresionante incluso en esa consola.
I find it very positive that even Series S has 60 fps performance modes. That shows that the studio wants the game to be accessible and fluid for more players. Also, from what they show, the visual level is still impressive even on that console.

Lo que más me llama la atención es que estén apostando por una experiencia técnica sólida sin descuidar el ambiente del juego. Muchas veces se habla solo de gráficos, pero aquí también están cuidando el sonido, la música y cómo se siente conducir por ese mundo japonés.
What strikes me the most is that they are betting on a solid technical experience without neglecting the atmosphere of the game. Many times people only talk about graphics, but here they are also taking care of the sound, the music and how it feels to drive through that Japanese world.

Si Playground Games tient vraiment ses promesses, Forza Horizon 6 pourrait devenir le meilleur épisode de la licence. Le choix du Japon est une demande des fans depuis des années, et entre les routes de montagne, les villes et la météo dynamique, l’ambiance a l’air incroyable. Les modes 4K/30 FPS et 60 FPS annoncés sur console montrent aussi qu’ils veulent proposer quelque chose de fluide sans sacrifier les graphismes. Et niveau bande-son, voir des artistes comme BABYMETAL, Pendulum ou Linkin Park confirme qu’ils misent encore énormément sur l’immersion pendant les trajets. J’espère surtout qu’ils vont remettre une vraie sensation de progression, parce que c’était un des points faibles du 5 pour beaucoup de joueurs.
