Gameplay Trailer for Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League Season 1 revealed

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is a action-adventure shooter game developed by Rocksteady Studios and published by Warner Bros. Games. Based on the DC Comics team Suicide Squad, it is a spin-off of the Batman: Arkham series, and a follow-up to Batman: Arkham Knight. Set five years after the events of Arkham Knight, the game's storyline follows four supervillains—Captain Boomerang, Deadshot, Harley Quinn, and King Shark—who are assembled by Amanda Waller and sent to Metropolis to stop the alien invader Brainiac and kill the members of the Justice League who fell under his influence.

On March 22nd, Warner Bros. Games and Rocksteady released the Gameplay Trailer for Season 1 of Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League. The first season of Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League will bring us one of the most iconic villains of the Batman universe:

As previously announced, the Joker will be the first and free post-launch DLC addition for the playable cast. The Joker comes with an entirely new Traversal kit, using his explosive umbrella to fly around the city. When in the air, the Joker can unfurl his umbrella to float gently to the ground (while raining explosives below), or ride on to swoop forwards at great speed.

The launch of a new Season means a new Elseworld to explore during Incursion and Mayhem missions. Season 1 sees a version of Metropolis infected with the twisted and warped mind of The Joker, creating a darkly comic reflection of the City of Tomorrow.  Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League Season 1 will be comprised of two episodes, each coming with new Incursions and Strongholds; missions and activities; DC Super-Villain-themed weapons, gear, and cosmetics; Justice League-infused Brainiac variant boss fights; and more.

Episode 1: Fear will begin on March 28, adding new gear inspired by the terror-inducing toxins and poisons of Scarecrow and Notorious items featuring Mad Hatter, Merlyn, and Dr. Psycho. This Episode will include plenty of new missions for you to complete while you fight and power up. There will be a new Mayhem mission and Assault missions, as well as a new type of Incursion mission – “Combat Incursions”. These combat-focused Incursions allow the squad to do what they do best: bash some Coluan heads together however they see fit. 

Episode 2: Duality will be released as a mid-season update and includes a new mission type, new Green Lantern infused enemies, new Two-Face Infamy gear sets, and new Notorious weaponry based on DC Super-Villains Reverse-Flash and Black Manta.
