Grab Immortals Fenyx Rising for free on PC in Ubisoft’s latest offer

Ubisoft has launched a giveaway on PC, offering the open-world action title Immortals Fenyx Rising, which was released in 2020, for free to all players. This promotion is part of the celebrations for Ubisoft Connect's birthday, the cross-platform system that connects its games. The game itself will also be celebrating its five-year anniversary soon.

"Five years ago, Ubisoft Connect was debuted as a cohesive ecosystem that brought Ubisoft players together across various platforms," Ubisoft states regarding its Connect service. "Since then, Ubisoft Connect has developed into the central hub for your Ubisoft games, friends, and gaming experiences. Each month, millions of gamers worldwide log in to play, connect, and share their stories."

Regarding the game, Immortals Fenyx Rising was created by Ubisoft Quebec and debuted in 2020. In this open-world adventure, players assume the role of Fenyx, a Greek shield-bearer on a quest to fulfill a prophecy narrated by Prometheus to Zeus. The narrative includes battling mythological creatures and solving numerous puzzles as Fenyx endeavors to rescue the Greek Gods from Typhon.

The gameplay features third-person action reminiscent of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Virtually any building or terrain can be climbed, and players also have access to mounts and gliding. Much of the gameplay revolves around puzzle-solving, which can include elements of platforming, combat, and traversal.
