Sonic X Shadow Generations becomes a massive hit

The recently released Sonic X Shadow Generations has quickly won the hearts of fans. This remaster of the 2011 game Sonic Generations features a brand new story mode focusing on the character Shadow the Hedgehog. The game officially launched just a few days ago on October 25, so selling one million copies in less than a week is a highly impressive achievement for Sonic X Shadow Generations. This success marks another high point in what has been a strong year for Sega and Atlus, as other titles like Metaphor: ReFantazio, Persona 3 Reload, and Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth have also brought significant success. 

With the game’s success, fans are eagerly watching to see how Sega will continue to develop the Sonic franchise in the future. Sonic X Shadow Generations is now available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC, and Nintendo Switch. The game combines two story modes: a remastered version of Sonic Generations, and an entirely new mode featuring the anti-hero character Shadow.
