New trailer for Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 showcases the Tremere Clan

Obsessed with vitae – or vampire blood – a drop of blood can become a lethal weapon for the wounded class, far from being fallen. In Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2, the Tremere use their power to control their own blood and that of their enemies. Those who choose to designate Phyre - the main character's name - to the Tremere clan benefit from long-distance attacks, striking with their own vitae and even tearing the blood from the veins of their enemies.

An extended gameplay reveal will be available in January 2024, and the next vampiric clan in Bloodlines 2 will be revealed on November 30, 2023, on the PC Gaming Show: Most Wanted program. The first Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines featured eight playable clans, including Brujah, Gangrel, Malkavian, Nosferatu, Toreador, Tremere, and Clan Ventrue.

Tremere is the second clan trailer revealed for Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2. The first was the Brujah clan, whose members are brutal in nature and mostly composed of pariahs seeking anonymity in the Pacific Northwest. It's easier to find those who make up the Brujah by attending one of their usual fighting events, known as Bash. Here, they fight round after round to show their dominance over the rest of the undead hidden in the shadows of Seattle.

Every clan has access to a set of Disciplines, similar to a skill tree. Players can customize their character according to the Disciplines available to the chosen clan. In the first game, Brujah, for instance, had access to the Celerity and Potency Disciplines, which made them juggernauts in hand-to-hand combat.

Paradox Interactive announced that The Chinese Room is developing the highly-anticipated Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2. The Chinese Room is known for creating ground-breaking first-person titles that have won awards from BAFTA, TIGA, and more for their emotionally rich narratives. The studio's world-class background makes them well-equipped to tell a Vampire story set in modern Seattle reimagined for a World of Darkness action RPG. In The Chinese Room's portfolio are games like Little Orpheus, Dear Esther, and Amnesia: A Machine For Pigs.

Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 will release in Fall 2024 for Xbox Series, PlayStation 5, and PC. Previously, the game had been announced as cross-gen, but it seems that is no longer the case.
