Additionally, insurance may help recover some items, but this only works if they aren't found by other players and extracted.; What is the purpose of completing quests from traders?
Quests from traders are crucial for several reasons. They unlock access to higher-level traders, which in turn provide better gear, weapons, and ammunition. Completing quests also increases your reputation with traders, which can unlock special items, services, and lower prices. Moreover, quest completion is often needed to unlock new hideout upgrades and crafts.; How does the health and injury system work in Escape from Tarkov?
The health system is based on individual body parts. Each body part has a health pool. Damage can cause bleeding, fractures, and other debilitating conditions. These conditions require specific medical supplies to treat, and failing to do so can lead to death. Even light injuries can hinder movement and combat effectiveness.; What is the 'hideout' and what can I do with it?
The hideout is your personal base of operations. You can use it to craft items, such as ammunition, medicine, and weapons modifications. The hideout can be upgraded over time, unlocking new crafting options, generators, and other useful features. It's a central hub for managing your inventory and preparing for raids.; Can I team up with friends to survive raids, and how does that work?
Yes, you can team up with friends in raids. You can join a squad before entering a raid, allowing you to share information, provide covering fire, and revive each other. Managing stamina is crucial for navigating maps, engaging in combat, and avoiding exhaustion at critical moments.; What is 'flea market' and what can I buy/sell there?
The flea market is a player-driven marketplace where you can buy and sell items. You can trade items for rubles, barter items, and find gear that might not be available from traders directly. Access to the flea market is unlocked at a certain player level, and its use is often essential for acquiring specific items and managing your economy.; How does the game handle different types of ammunition and their impact on combat?
Escape from Tarkov features a complex ballistics system. Different ammunition types have varying levels of penetration, damage, and armor-piercing capabilities. Understanding these differences is crucial for choosing the right ammo for your weapon, as the type of ammunition you use can drastically affect your ability to penetrate armor and deal damage to opponents.; What happens if my character dies, outside of losing gear?
When your character dies in a raid, you lose all the items you brought in (unless secured or insured), and you also have to go through the process of healing your character. Your character retains their skills, trader reputations, and hideout progress. But if you die frequently, you may have to rely on lower-quality gear and resources until you're able to rebuild your stash, which can impede your progression.

Escape from Tarkov is an exceptional game! It can offer some of the best moments you can experience in a first-person shooter, but it demands patience and is very unforgiving of mistakes. It's less a pure shooter and more a blend of survival, strategy, risk management, and psychology. You'll need to gain a fair amount of experience to truly master it.

So, I already have this game still in Beta phase which is very promising and I admit that I love the atmosphere. But my partner doesn't have it yet and as there is a contest to win a game : I don't do my selfishness and I participate to offer it to him and not to struggle alone anymore. Thanks to DLCOMPARE for these contests which occur from time to time.
