FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions

: How does the "Fame" victory condition interact with the "Winter" mechanic, and does the clan choice influence this interaction?
The Fame victory requires accumulating a certain amount of Fame by the end of the game. Winter significantly reduces resource production and can slow down Fame gain. Some clans have bonuses or penalties related to Fame generation or Winter survival, influencing their path to victory.; Can you explain the "Lore" system and how specific Lore choices impact gameplay, particularly concerning the influence on unit upgrades or building capabilities?
The Lore system allows players to spend Knowledge to unlock powerful bonuses and technologies. Each Lore choice unlocks specific upgrades, buildings, or unit enhancements, shaping the clan's strategy and specialization.; What are the primary differences in resource management between the "Raven" and "Wolf" clans, and how do their unit compositions complement their resource strategies?
The Raven Clan relies on trading for resources, while the Wolf Clan focuses on military might and pillaging. The Raven Clan typically uses less military and they have bonuses in trading, while the Wolf Clan favors offensive units and often has benefits for combat.; How does the "Happiness" mechanic affect a clan's productivity and unit effectiveness, and what are the most reliable methods for maintaining high Happiness levels?
Happiness directly impacts a clan's production rates and unit combat effectiveness. High Happiness provides significant bonuses, while low Happiness leads to penalties. Maintaining high Happiness often involves providing food, satisfying clan needs, and avoiding negative events.; In what ways does "Conquest" victory differ in execution from other victory conditions, and what specific unit types or strategies are most effective in pursuing this path?
The Conquest victory requires capturing all of the territories on the map. It demands an aggressive military strategy and requires specialized units with high combat capabilities. Careful territory control and strategic military deployment are critical.; How does "Winter" affect the population of a clan and influence the need for specialized buildings and technologies?
Winter decreases food production, making food and the means to produce food of the utmost importance. Population decreases with high starvation rates. Certain technologies and buildings help mitigate Winter's impact and support population survival.; What role does "Krown" play, and how is it acquired, spent, and does its use change with the Clan choice?
Krown is the primary currency. It's earned through various means, like trading and production. Krown is spent on buildings, upgrades, and unit recruitment. The usage of Krown often varies depending on a clan's economic and strategic focus.; How do "Relics" impact the gameplay, and is there a consistent method to get a Relic?
Relics are powerful artifacts that provide unique bonuses or abilities. They are obtained through exploration, events, or specific Lore choices. Relics offer powerful advantages, often specializing clans in particular areas.; Can you describe the impact of the "Trade" mechanic on a clan's economy and overall strategy, and what are the advantages of engaging in trade with other clans or neutral factions?
Trading with other clans or neutral factions is essential for gaining resources. Trade routes provide income and allow access to resources that a clan might lack. Trade is a key strategic element for some clans and victory conditions.; How does the "Exploration" mechanic contribute to the game's strategic depth, and what are the key benefits of scouting and revealing new territories?
Exploration is essential for revealing the map, finding resources, and discovering valuable locations. It allows players to gather resources, uncover Relics, and assess threats. Exploration plays a key role in adapting strategy to the game state.
