Headspun

Headspun is a 2D narrative adventure set in Cortex, the world of Theo Kavinsky's broken brain. After waking from a five-week coma, Theo finds himself in a hospital room with no memory of the accident, or the events leading up to it. The game follows his recovery as his memories start falling back into place – but that won’t happen without first fixing up Cortex… Taking advantage of live-action FMV sequences, the staff of Cortex watch Theo's life unfold from the eyeScreen behind his eyes, making decisions on his behalf and running the day-to-day cognitive operations which define Theo as a person. But with Cortex in ruins - the parietal lobe damaged - what made Theo 'Theo' is no longer obvious.

Players will assume the role of Ted, the conscious, intelligent voice in Theo’s head, as he tries to repair and renovate Cortex after the accident, and put Theo’s life back on track. What Ted thinks is best for Theo isn’t necessarily a view shared by Teddy, the primal, emotional, subconscious voice in Theo’s head. In the process of repairing Cortex, re-hiring a team and finding out what happened the night of the accident, Ted and Teddy must cast aside their differences and learn to work together. Headspun is a game about recovery, discovery, and the ongoing battle between logic and emotion.
