Ys IX: Monstrum Nox

As the latest installment in the Ys series, Ys IX: Monstrum Nox will transport you to a fantasy universe. The city of Balduq is widely known for its massive prison, which holds under confinement some of the most dangerous criminals of the Romun Empire. It's also an important transport hub that has grown quite a lot in recent years. The arrival of enigmatic individuals with supernatural powers has generated unrest among the citizens of Balduq. These people are known as Monstrums. Nobody knows whats the origin of their powers or if they follow a certain agenda, but the imprisonment of the renowned adventurer Adol “the Red” Christin will set in motion a series of events that will completely change Balduq as he faces terrible threats coming from a shadowy dimension called the Grimwald Nox.

Ys IX: Monstrum Nox is an action role-playing game in which you will play as any of six powerful Monstrums and fight against deadly enemies in thrilling combats as you try to discover the origins of your powers and protect the city of Bladuq from the attack of shadowy creatures.
