In The Anacrusis, you are a crew member of a huge starship stranded in the outer reaches of the galaxy. The ship has been invaded by ferocious aliens, and you are one of the four only survivors abroad. You will have to do whatever it takes to defend humanity and avoid being abducted by the horde of aliens that infests every level of the ship. Of course, that means engaging them in combat, which is something you are not prepared to do. You will need to learn fast and adapt to the current situation, or you will soon be another victim to the aliens.

The Anacrusis is a cooperative first-person shooter where up to four players have to coordinate their efforts in order to survive. Fortunately, Nessa, Guion, Liu, and Lance have a wide variety of weapons at their disposal to fight the aliens. They can find laser rifles, pistols, stasis grenades, medkits, and more as they explore the vast corridors and rooms of the starship. Each player decides what equipment to use at any given time, but only by making the best use of them will they be able to survive.

One of the most important features of The Anacrusis is its high replayability. As you defeat enemies, you can unlock additional perks that will completely change the way you play the game. Each game will be completely different, and the game will adapt to your skill level challenge you with appropriate difficulty.
