The Anacrusis is ready for Early Access

The Anacrusis may not ring a bell for you, but if we say that it's a game created but former developers at Valve and Riot Games, everything starts to sound better. Chet Faliszek and Kimberly Voll formed an independent studio named Stray Bombay less than a year ago, and it's been more than enough time to get its first project ready to enter Early Access. The Anacrusis is a multiplayer cooperative first-person shooter that pits several tripulants of a spaceship against hordes of bloodthirsty aliens. 

The Anacrusis features gameplay similar to Left 4 Dead, which is easy to understand since Faliszek was one of the head developers of the popular survival horror game when he was at Valve. There are several characters to choose from, plenty of weapons and perks to unlock and use, and chaotic action to the boot will be the signature of a game with very high replayability that aims to entertain players for a long while. An AI Driver successor to the one in Left 4 Dead will control every aspect of a game, including the positioning and spawn of enemies, boosters, and more. It will adjust the game's difficulty to adapt it to your level of skill; therefore, two games will never be the same in The Anacrusis, and you will always face an appropriate level of challenge. 

The scenarios, weapons, and characters in the game have a certain retro vibe, and the game features graphics reminiscent of the '70s, but the gameplay looks fluid, modern, and quite exciting. An innovative feature in the game is that you can share all the upgrades you unlock with everyone you play with. 

The Anacrusis has all the elements needed to become the new sensation this year across several platforms. It will support cross-play between all platforms, including Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store.
