Have you ever wanted to join a cult? If you are searching for a tycoon/management game, where you have to supervise your cultists, resources, funds, and followers, Honey, I Joined a Cult is the right choice.

Being a great manager of your cult is the key to success. Your cult must be as efficient as it can. Develop cultists' skills, set schedules, level them up, and manage maintenance and food. With the help of a priority system, you will be able to assign tasks to your cultists that best suit them. Micro-management is the key.

Keep your cultists happy by decorating, and designing their rooms. Each object has a vital role and you have a wide variety of them to choose from. A discombobulator, polygraph rooms, spirit chambers, and more, are some of those options.

Customize your cult and choose your funky symbols, uniforms, hats, and strange relics. Choose the name, cult leader, and Divine Being that you worship.

You will have to make sure your cultists are well-watered, fed, and having fun. In order for them to be the best cult members they can, you will have to take care of their physical and mental well-being.

The cult leader will let you know his demands. Build specific rooms and recruit followers in order to fulfill them. Not doing so, will displease him and he won't be able to perform effective sermons or will lower his mood. You can send your cultists on missions to your local town to gather resources or unlock new tech.

It's important that your cult keeps growing, so use all your charm to do so. Be sure to keep your new recruits happy in order for them not to leave.

Experiment and try out all the possibilities in Honey, I Joined a Cult.

    FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions

Can I use the same staff member to both brainwash a follower and then later assign them to lead a ritual?
Yes, staff members can perform multiple roles, but their effectiveness may vary based on their skills and the demands of each task. Overworking them could lead to reduced performance or stress-related issues.
If I choose the 'Hypnosis' skill for my brainwashing room, will it increase the success chance for all brainwashing attempts, or just those performed by staff members with that skill?
The 'Hypnosis' skill bonus applies to all brainwashing attempts conducted within the room, regardless of the specific skills of the staff member performing the action.
How does the 'Image' stat of my cult affect the rate at which new followers join?
A higher 'Image' stat increases the likelihood of potential followers being drawn to your cult and joining. This is influenced by the appearance of your compound and the overall 'vibe' you project.
Does the 'Comfort' level of my dormitories affect the rate at which followers' needs are met or their happiness level?
Yes, higher 'Comfort' levels in dormitories positively impact follower happiness and reduce the frequency with which their needs (such as rest) become unmet, influencing their overall loyalty.
If a follower's 'Willpower' is very high, does that make them immune to brainwashing?
No, a high 'Willpower' makes brainwashing more difficult and time-consuming, but not impossible. You might need to utilize higher-level brainwashing techniques or assign staff with stronger related skills.
Can I relocate rooms I've already built, or am I committed to their initial placement?
Yes, you can relocate most rooms after they have been built, though it may require resources or time. Some rooms may have restrictions based on their function or upgrades.
What is the consequence of failing a ritual?
Failing a ritual can result in various negative consequences, ranging from follower dissatisfaction and reduced resources to attracting unwanted attention from authorities or rival cults. The exact consequences depend on the specific ritual.
How does the 'Control' stat on my staff members affect their ability to manage followers?
The 'Control' stat impacts a staff member's ability to maintain order, resolve conflicts, and suppress dissent among followers. Higher Control means fewer issues and more effective management.
Does upgrading the 'Kitchen' room increase the amount of food produced, or does it only affect the quality of the food?
Upgrading the 'Kitchen' affects both the quantity of food produced per cycle and the quality of the food, which in turn impacts follower happiness and health.
When a raid occurs, are all my followers forced to fight, or do I get to choose who participates?
During a raid, you can select which followers will participate in the defense. Choosing the right followers with suitable skills and equipment is crucial for success.
