    Marathon is a next-generation sci-fi extraction shooter from Bungie, the studio behind Halo and Destiny. Set on the long-abandoned colony world of Tau Ceti IV, the game places players in the role of a Runner, a cybernetic mercenary engineered for survival in a hostile, high-risk environment where profit and persistence are everything.

    Each match is a calculated gamble. Enter the surface alone or with a small crew to scavenge rare technology, weapons, and data while contending with enemy Runners, aggressive AI factions, and unpredictable environmental dangers. Combat is fast, precise, and unforgiving, emphasizing strong gunplay, tactical positioning, and smart resource management.     Purtroppo stanno uscendo tanti di questi extraction shooter che si perderanno molto presto, non ne avevamo bisogno.

    Mi experiencia no ha sido nada buena. Nada funciona correctamente. Errores. Fallos. Pérdida de objetos por montones. La peor interfaz de usuario que Bungie parece no poder aprender de juegos anteriores. Perder inventarios completos después de rellenarlos es algo inaudito para mí, y sin embargo, sucede claramente en este juego
    My experience has not been good at all. Nothing works correctly. Errors. Failures. Item loss by the bucketload. The worst user interface that Bungie can't seem to learn from previous games. Losing entire inventories after refilling them is unheard of to me, yet it clearly happens in this game.

    Lo odié cuando anunciaron el juego y dijeron que sería un shooter de extracción, pero ¡maldita sea!, la verdad es que me lo estoy pasando genial.

    El juego es totalmente impresionante a nivel estética y gunplay, es un híbrido entre la dificultad del Tarkov y la comodidad del ARC Raiders, de entre los tres, este es mi favorito.

    Si eres de esos jugadores que amas viciarte a un juego por horas y horas hasta no sentir la raja, buscar lore, aprender el manejo de armas y habilidades honestamente este juego es para ti. Personalmente le di una oportunidad desde el Server Slam hace unos días y no me arrepiento, hasta terminé comprándome la edición deluxe del juego.
    If you are one of those players who love to play a game for hours and hours until you don't feel the raja, look for lore, learn the handling of weapons and skills honestly this game is for you. Personally I gave it a try since Server Slam a few days ago and I don't regret it, I even ended up buying the deluxe edition of the game.

    Este juego me llama la atención tanto en FPS como en extracción. La jugabilidad, la estética y la narrativa parecen magníficas y, aunque he visto que tiene pequeños errores, creo que se pueden pasar por alto fácilmente.
    This game catches my attention in both FPS and extraction. The gameplay, aesthetics and narrative seem superb, and while I've seen it has minor bugs, I think they can be easily overlooked.

    Je suis assez déçu par Marathon. J’attendais quelque chose de vraiment nouveau, surtout venant d’un studio avec une telle réputation. Malheureusement, le jeu donne surtout l’impression de recycler des idées déjà vues ailleurs. Quand on le compare à Hunt: Showdown, ARC Raiders ou Escape from Tarkov, on se rend vite compte qu’il n’apporte finalement rien de vraiment inédit au genre. Le seul point qui m’a réellement plu, c’est le gunplay. Les armes ont un très bon feeling, elles sont agréables à utiliser et les tirs donnent une vraie sensation d’impact. On ressent clairement le savoir-faire du studio : les animations, le recul et la prise en main sont très réussis. Mais en dehors de ça, le jeu peine à se démarquer. Les mécaniques et la structure des parties donnent une impression de déjà-vu. Au final, malgré un gunplay solide, Marathon reste pour moi assez générique et n’arrive pas vraiment à se distinguer de ses concurrents
    I'm pretty disappointed with Marathon. I was expecting something really new, especially from a studio with such a reputation. Unfortunately, the game gives the impression of recycling ideas already seen elsewhere. When you compare it to Hunt: Showdown, ARC Raiders or Escape from Tarkov, you quickly realize that it doesn't really bring anything new to the genre. The only thing I really liked was the gunplay. The weapons have a very good feel, they're pleasant to use and the shots have a real sense of impact. You can clearly feel the studio's know-how: the animations, the recoil and the grip are very well done. But beyond that, the game struggles to stand out. The game's mechanics and structure give an impression of déjà-vu. In the end, despite its solid gunplay, Marathon remains rather generic and doesn't really stand out from its competitors.

    Este no es un juego para todos y creo que eso es lo que lo hace tan especial. Es el tipo de juego que cuando pierdes, o subes de nivel tu habilidad o devuelves el dinero y lo desinstalas. Si decides subir de nivel, el juego realmente se abre y te recompensa por ello. Más allá de la dificultad, este juego es un festín de calidad, el tiroteo es sólido y contundente, el audio es un orgasmo auditivo, y la atmósfera y los entornos realmente te dan esa sensación de otro mundo.
    This is not a game for everyone and I think that's what makes it so special. It's the kind of game that when you lose, you either level up your skill or you give the money back and uninstall it. If you decide to level up, the game really opens up and rewards you for it. Beyond the difficulty, this game is a feast of quality, the shooting is solid and punchy, the audio is an auditory orgasm, and the atmosphere and environments really give you that otherworldly feel.
