Mongrel is a unique roguelike that puts you in the shoes of Finch. He is a goofy frog that lives in a world where humans have degenerated until their level of stupidity is off the charts. Finch is embarked on a quest to get some intimacy with the only female in town. In order to gain enough reputation to start a romance with the lady, our green friend will have to explore the underworld and fight against Fergooson, an evil mastermind that commands an army of unwanted children that have been flushed in the toilet.

Leaving the crazy story aside, Mongrel is a sidescrolling platformer in 2D that pits you against levels full of traps and deadly enemies as you try to progress and gain enough reputation to get a date. You can unlock plenty of weapons and also new upgrades and perks for Finch by finding ancient eggs. Only by finding the most powerful equipment will you be able to succeed in your mission.
