Explore Garden of the Zodiacs, an astral prison guarded by twelve powerful bosses, and fight against countless enemies as you try to escape. Astral Ascent is a 2D platformer with pixel-art graphics that reminisces games like Dead Cells. You choose from four different characters, each of them with a different background and abilities, and proceed to explore the four worlds that form the Garden in an epic adventure.

Ayla is a former assassin that uses a pair of deadly daggers and her unmatched speed to get rid of any enemies in her way. Kiran is an orphan who uses brutal attacks to destroy his opponents. Calie is a skilled sculptor who uses magical gemstones to unleash an array of strikes that can pierce through any defense. Octave can summon all kinds of ethereal guns that can make rain bullets on his enemies.

Any of these four individuals holds enough power to escape from the Garden, but Astral Ascent can be played in cooperative mode with a friend for additional fun. As you progress throughout the game, you will unveil the different chapters of the story, learning more about the characters, their past, and their motivations towards an unexpected end.
