Alan Wake 2 will have free DLCs

The return of the best-selling writer quite a few years after his mysterious disappearance has all the fans hyped. Alan Wake 2 is bound to be one of those games to be remembered by the fans of the genre. The new survival horror adventure from Remedy will allow players to visit Bright Falls once more and immerse into a nightmarish world where nothing is quite what it seems. But the upcoming release of Alan Wake 2 will not be the end of the story. Remedy Entertainment has revealed that the game will have extra DLC post-launch. Alan Wake 2 Creative Director Sam Lake has announced in a recent interview that these DLCs will be significant and free to all players.

“We do have free DLC drops coming and they are pretty significant. I’m expecting us to be going more into detail pretty soon after the game is out, but all of that will be free for everyone who gets the game.”

The post-launch content coming for Alan Wake 2 will also include two paid expansions. It is yet to be revealed if these will include new characters and side stories, or will be a continuation of the main storyline.
