Your loot just got a little safer in ARC Raiders

ARC Raiders gives players a break with cheaper vault slots
Updates & Patches

ARC Raiders just got another update, and while this one is not as loud as the previous patch, it still matters a lot if you are deep into the game’s economy and Expedition loop.

The last big update was Patch 1.29.0, which brought in Ermal, the Nomadic Envoy trader, alongside new progression rewards, trading options, stash upgrades, Raider Tokens, cosmetics, blueprints, and the Rascal grenade launcher. That patch had the feeling of a proper content drop, with new systems to mess around with and a clear push toward giving players more things to chase between runs. It changed the rhythm of the game in a pretty direct way.

Store Update 1.30.0 is smaller on paper, but it hits one of the most important parts of ARC Raiders right now: the Expedition Vault. These vault slots are basically there for players who want to protect valuable items during Expeditions, so the cost matters a lot. Before this update, the prices climbed hard from tier to tier, with the later slots becoming very expensive. Now, Embark has brought the price down and made things much more manageable.

Expedition Vault slots just got way cheaper

Tier 1 still costs 200,000, but the real change is with Tiers 2, 3, 4, and 5. Instead of jumping up to 400,000, 600,000, 800,000, and even 1,000,000, each of those tiers now costs 200,000. That is a huge difference, especially for players who are grinding, trading with Ermal, and trying to build a better safety net for their best loot. It makes the Expedition system feel less punishing and a lot more realistic for regular players.

The update also adds two new colour variants for the Leviathan Set: Midnight and Crimson Frost. Even better, if you already own the Leviathan Set, you get these new variants automatically. No restart needed, no weird extra step, just more options for players who like putting together a sharper Raider look.

There are a couple of other relevant notes too. The team is still looking into Xbox crashes and PC FPS problems that appeared after the previous update, so performance is clearly still on the radar. Embark has also confirmed that ARC Raiders is moving into a live update schedule every three weeks, with weekly store and Trials rotations, while bigger updates will arrive twice a year.

So no, this is not the flashiest ARC Raiders update ever, but it is one that players will actually feel. Cheaper vault slots mean better planning, less pressure, and more reason to keep pushing Expeditions.
