Forgotten Relics makes ARC Raiders worth jumping back into

ARC Raiders Update 1.33.0 sends players hunting for Forgotten Relics
Updates & Patches

ARC Raiders Update 1.33.0 is here, and while this is not one of those massive “change the whole game” updates, it definitely gives players a fresh reason to jump back in. The main star of the patch is the new Forgotten Relics Event, which adds another layer to every run without making the game feel overloaded.

The event is built around Merits, a new event currency that you earn simply by playing. XP gained on any map is automatically converted into Merits, so you are always making progress even when a raid does not go perfectly. But the real bonus comes from hunting down relics while you are out in the world. These can be found in containers like lockers, drawers, and crates, but there is one catch: you only get the extra Merits if you extract with them. That fits ARC Raiders really well, because it turns every “one more room” moment into a proper gamble.

Converging Paths gives players another reason to keep raiding

Update 1.33.0 also brings the Converging Paths Project, which is tied to the arrival of the Nomadic Envoys in Speranza. This project asks players to secure routes, collect supplies, and recover relics from Topside. It runs until July 27, so there is enough time to work through it without feeling like you have to no-life the game for a week. The rewards are pretty solid too, including the Red-Black Saltwalker Outfit variant, a Sextant backpack charm, and Raider Tokens.

The patch also makes some interesting gameplay changes. Free loadouts are now disabled for Night Raid and Close Scrutiny as part of a three-week test. That means players have to risk more when going into these higher-value conditions, which should make those runs feel a lot more tense.

On top of that, Embark has included a bunch of fixes and smaller tweaks. ADS accuracy issues have been corrected, some weird map collision problems have been fixed, quest objectives should behave better, and the Rocketeer now drops Launcher Ammo instead of Heavy Ammo. Anti-cheat work is also part of the update, including expanded Denuvo Anti-Cheat coverage and loot compensation if a cheater is confirmed to have knocked you out.

If you have been waiting for a good excuse to get into ARC Raiders, this update makes the game feel active and worth checking again. And before you buy, make sure to use our price comparison tool to find the best prices for ARC Raiders.
