Dambuster promises new content for Dead Island 2

After quite a few years in the works, Dead Island 2 was finally released in April 2023. The zombie action RPG from Deep Silver and Dambuster Studios immediately became a hit due to the huge anticipation that preceded its launch and the experience it offered then was appealing enough to catch the eye of a massive community. Among the novelties in the sequel to Dead Island, the deck-building system that replaced the old talent tree system for the characters' skills, and the FLESH system that represents wounds with a deep level of realism make Dead Island 2 quite different from its predecessor. The game also maintains the same level of thrilling zombie-killing action that made the first two games in the series so popular.

More than one year later, Dead Island 2 has been released on PC and it has received plenty of additional content in the form of free updates and two DLCs. Both Haus and SOLA Festival include new locations to visit in LA and thrilling storylines to follow as you leave behind a trail of dead zombies. However, this is not the end of Dead Island 2.

HELL-A is becoming more interesting

Dambuster Studios has announced that it will release more content for the game in the future. A recent publication of the studio on X states that new post-launch content for Dead Island 2 will be announced in the coming months. No details about the content have been revealed yet but it's likely that it will come in the form of new DLC which could be included in another season pass. The developer studio also promises ongoing support for the game so it's clear that it does not plan to abandon the franchise anytime soon.
