I am very happy to see it working so well. I had already loved the first one for its unique atmosphere and contemplative side and this second installment is even better. It's not a game that tries to please everyone, and that's precisely what makes it strong. Seeing it succeed on PC shows that there is an audience for slower, more thoughtful experiences, away from the frenetic pace of classic AAAs.

Even though I think Death Stranding 2 works well on PC, I have to admit that I still have a preference for the first one. There was an exploration side, a really unique atmosphere and a sense of loneliness that I found less noticeable in this suite. The second is more polished in some aspects, but it didn't surprise me as much. I also get the impression that the "novelty effect" has worn off a bit. Where the first suggested something truly unexpected, the sequel revisits an already familiar formula, even if it has been improved. It remains a very good game
