Mira, acabo de terminar Death Stranding 2 y sigo intentando procesar todo lo que he visto porque, sinceramente, Kojima se ha pasado de rosca esta vez, pero de la mejor manera posible. Al principio pensé que iba a ser más de lo mismo, ya sabes, caminar y llevar paquetes, pero la escala de este juego es otra cosa totalmente distinta. Visualmente es una auténtica locura; hay momentos en los que no sabes si estás jugando o viendo una película de ciencia ficción de altísimo presupuesto, y ese motor gráfico hace que cada gota de lluvia o el barro en las botas se vea ridículamente real. Lo que más me ha volado la cabeza es cómo el terreno cambia ahora con los desastres naturales, porque ya no es solo planear la ruta con calma, sino sobrevivir a que el suelo se te abra literalmente bajo los pies en tiempo real.

L’attente de la version PC de Death Stranding 2: On the Beach en valait clairement la peine. Même si la version PlayStation 5 reste tout à fait solide, je voulais découvrir le jeu dans les meilleures conditions possibles, et cette version PC est tout simplement idéale. J’espère vraiment que Sony continuera de porter ses jeux sur PC et avec un tel niveau de qualité. Si cette dynamique se poursuit, qui sait… peut-être qu’un jour Bloodborne aura enfin droit à une version PC digne de ce nom
The wait for the PC version of Death Stranding 2: On the Beach was clearly worth it. Even though the PlayStation 5 version is still quite solid, I wanted to experience the game in the best possible conditions, and this PC version is simply ideal. I really hope that Sony will continue to bring its games to PC, and at such a high level of quality. If this momentum continues, who knows... maybe one day Bloodborne will finally get a PC version worthy of the name.

Terminé Death Stranding 2 una vez en PS5 cuando salió, y más recientemente en PC, y la experiencia me pareció muy diferente. En aquel momento, lo que más recordé fue el ambiente único, la realización impresionante y la sensación de soledad. En PC, la fluidez y la calidad visual refuerzan claramente la inmersión. Pero sobre todo, con el tiempo, me gustó más la profundidad del juego, que se volvió más estratégico y relajante una vez dominado. La historia también me dejó más impresionado, gracias a una mejor comprensión de sus temas. Un juego único que merece el éxito
I finished Death Stranding 2 once on PS5 when it came out, and more recently on PC, and the experience felt very different to me. At the time, what I remembered most was the unique atmosphere, the stunning realization, and the sense of solitude. On PC, the fluidity and visual quality clearly reinforce the immersion. But above all, over time, I liked more the depth of the game, which became more strategic and relaxing once mastered. No sé en PC pero en PS5 esto es lo que me encontré: Paisajes fotorrealistas, con gran nivel de detalle. Aquí, la luz, el clima dinámico y el entorno se combinan de forma natural, creando el efecto de un mundo vivo. Este es uno de esos juegos en los que uno quiere detenerse y simplemente contemplar la escena, que en ocasiones recuerda a una película.
I don't know about PC but on PS5 this is what I found: Photorealistic landscapes, with great level of detail. Here, the light, the dynamic weather and the environment combine naturally, creating the effect of a living world. This is one of those games where you want to stop and just contemplate the scene, sometimes reminiscent of a movie.

Death Stranding 2 est très bien accueilli. Beaucoup saluent ses visuels impressionnants, son ambiance unique et un gameplay amélioré, plus fluide que le premier. L’histoire et l’univers marquent toujours autant. En revanche, certains trouvent le rythme lent et le concept encore spécial. Au final, c’est une expérience originale qui plaît beaucoup, mais pas à tout le monde.

La jugabilidad está perfectamente equilibrada: en un momento te sumerges con calma en la atmósfera y la música, y al siguiente participas en una tensa batalla contra un jefe acompañada de temas increíbles. La música es una obra maestra en sí misma. Captura a la perfección el ambiente de las escenas, a veces literalmente te pone la piel de gallina e incluso te hace llorar.
The gameplay is perfectly balanced: one moment you're calmly immersed in the atmosphere and music, and the next you're engaged in a tense boss battle accompanied by incredible themes. The music is a masterpiece in itself. It perfectly captures the atmosphere of the scenes, sometimes it literally gives you goosebumps and even makes you cry.

Attendre cette version en valait vraiment la peine. On sent que le jeu a été peaufiné jusque dans les moindres détails, que ce soit dans le scénario, la technique ou l’ambiance globale. L’expérience est beaucoup plus fluide, plus aboutie, et ça renforce encore l’immersion. Et honnêtement, après une telle expérience, j’espère vraiment voir d’autres jeux dans cet univers. Il y a encore tellement de choses à explorer, que ce soit à travers une suite ou même un spin-off centré sur d’autres personnages ou une autre région. L’univers est assez riche pour continuer à raconter de nouvelles histoires, et ça serait dommage de s’arrêter là
Waiting for this version was well worth it. You can feel that the game has been fine-tuned down to the smallest detail, whether in the scenario, the technical aspects or the overall atmosphere. The experience is much smoother and more accomplished, and this further enhances immersion. And honestly, after an experience like this, I really hope to see more games in this universe. There's still so much to explore, whether through a sequel or even a spin-off focusing on other characters or another region. The universe is rich enough to continue telling new stories, and it would be a shame to stop here.

La version PS5 de Death Stranding 2 est vraiment impressionnante sur le plan graphique, avec un niveau de détail et une qualité visuelle qui marquent clairement une évolution. Les environnements sont magnifiques, les effets de lumière sont très réussis, et l’ensemble donne une expérience visuelle très immersive. Du coup, je me dis que la version PC doit être encore plus sublime, surtout avec des configurations capables de pousser les graphismes encore plus loin. C’est clairement un jeu que j’aimerais tester un jour pour en profiter pleinement, mais pour l’instant, le prix de 80€ me freine un peu. J’attendrai sûrement une baisse avant de me lancer
The PS5 version of Death Stranding 2 is truly impressive graphically, with a level of detail and visual quality that clearly mark an evolution. En lançant Death Stranding 2: On the Beach, j’espérais retrouver cette sensation unique du premier… mais elle n’est jamais vraiment revenue. Le jeu est plus maîtrisé, plus confortable, mais aussi beaucoup moins marquant. Sans la découverte de l’univers, tout paraît plus familier, presque trop. Le coeur du gameplay n’a pas vraiment changé : livrer, traverser, recommencer. Et sans l’effet de nouveauté, ça devient vite répétitif. Même la narration d'Hideo Kojima, pourtant toujours aussi ambitieuse, m’a moins accroché que dans le premier. Côté PC en revanche, difficile de critiquer le portage est exemplaire, très bien optimisé, sans bugs notables. Entre les performances solides, les options graphiques poussées (DLSS, ray tracing) et le rendu global, c’est clairement la meilleure version du jeu. Mais pour moi, ça ne suffit pas : techniquement irréprochable, oui… mais émotionnellement, beaucoup moins fort que le premier
When I launched Death Stranding 2: On the Beach, I was hoping to recapture that unique feeling of the first... but it never really returned. The game is more controlled, more comfortable, but also much less striking. Without the discovery of the universe, everything seems more familiar, almost too familiar. The core gameplay hasn't really changed: deliver, cross, repeat. And without the novelty, it quickly becomes repetitive. Even Hideo Kojima's narration, as ambitious as ever, was less engaging than in the first game. On the PC side, on the other hand, it's hard to criticize the port, which is exemplary, very well optimized and without any notable bugs. Between the solid performance, the advanced graphics options (DLSS, ray tracing) and the overall rendering, this is clearly the best version of the game. But for me, that's not enough: technically flawless, yes... but emotionally, far less powerful than the first.
