The countdown to Death Stranding 2: On the Beach release begins

The long-awaited sequel to Hideo Kojima's genre-defying Death Stranding is nearly here. Death Stranding 2: On the Beach will officially launch on June 26, 2025, exclusively for PlayStation 5. However, those who've pre-ordered the Digital Deluxe or Collector's Edition will be granted early access a full 48 hours ahead of the standard release.

Players who qualify for early access will be able to dive into the new journey beginning at midnight local time on June 24, giving them a two-day head start. For everyone else, Death Stranding 2: On the Beach will unlock at midnight on June 26, depending on your region. Thanks to Sony's "rolling midnight" release strategy, players in earlier time zones will naturally be among the first to start.
