Hellpoint will be available on next-gen consoles next year

Released this summer, Hellpoint is an action role-playing game that puts you in the shoes of a humanoid created to be sent to the abandoned space station Irid Novo which has been the scene of a mysterious event called "Fusion". Blending sci-fi and horror in terms of atmosphere and offering Dark Souls-style gameplay, Hellpoint is already available on PC, Xbox One, and Playstation 4, and Cradle Games has announced that the game will also be available on next-gen consoles. 

The developers made the announcement through the game's official Twitter account, providing some details in the process. Two graphics modes will be available, “Performance” which will offer dynamic 4K and 60FPS, and “Quality” for native 4K and 30 FPS. Loading times should also be reduced. However, to take advantage of these improvements on the next-generation consoles you will have to wait for a while, as Cradle Games has declared that those versions of Hellpoint will arrive in 2021, without further details at this time. On the other hand, it will be possible to play Hellpoint on Xbox Series X/S and Playstation 5 when they are released on November 10 and 19 respectively thanks to backward compatibility, and those who own the game on current consoles will also benefit from a free upgrade to the optimized version on the new ones.
