Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 multiplayer will bring many innovations

On the occasion of the recent reveal of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 multiplayer, Activision has explained many new features and innovations that the new installment in the popular first-person shooter franchise will offer to the fans. Modern Warfare 2 will be completely different from Call of Duty: Vanguard, and it already shows it with new types of combat scenarios. 

The most significant novelty is that you will be able to dive underwater, which brings a lot of new opportunities in combat by allowing you to ambush other players, for example. Player movement range expands with new climbing options and the possibility of sliding, which will change the way you approach combat in the game. When it comes to new vehicles, weapons, equipment, and perks, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 will feature quite a few new ones and also more destructible elements than ever before. 

The game will also allow you to tailor the gameplay to your preferences with new modes like Knockout and Prisoner Rescue, and a Third Person view playlist for a completely new way of playing Call of Duty. The Gunsmith 2.0 system streamlines the weapon customization system. Most attachments can be used on all the weapons in a specific platform, making it much easier to unlock them all and swap between weapons anytime.

On the cooperative side of multiplayer, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 will give you access to several experiences. Part of the campaign can be played alongside a friend, and a new type of experience comes in the form of Raids, which will pose a significant challenge for a group of players.
