This brand-new, free bonus adventure reunites protagonists Zale and Valere in an exciting new challenge. Players can join the Solstice Warriors once again when Throes of the Watchmaker drops on May 20 for PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One.
Throes of the Watchmaker brings back one of the most intriguing characters from the main adventure of Sea of Stars: the brilliant inventor known as the Watchmaker, architect of the Clockwork Castle, and creator of the iconic pastime Wheels. This expansion was designed around a self-contained progression loop that introduces entirely new classes, skills, and combos for Zale, who trades in his signature sword to become a skilled juggler, and Valere, who sets aside her trusty staff to shine as an acrobat. Throughout Throes of the Watchmaker, the duo fights alongside a new playable party member, the Artificer, a mechanized sharpshooter.
The DLC dives into one of the Watchmaker's most fascinating inventions, the miniature world of Horloge, a land under threat by a cursed carnival. Zale and Valere must adapt to Horloge's odd rules in order to fully harness the powers of the Sun and Moon—abilities they've honed since the start of the main Sea of Stars journey to stop the Fleshmancer using Eclipse Magic.
Throes of the Watchmaker features brand-new areas, puzzles, and enemies and a completely original storyline separate from the main Sea of Stars adventure.
