Vermintide 2 Versus mode brings the heat back to the game

Warhammer: End Times - Vermintide marked the beginning of a long story of success for Fatshark. The developer studio created a first-person action game set in the world of Warhammer where heroes faced hordes of terrible Skaven and other monstrosities. The game is a savage and brutal multiplayer experience at its core, and it became popular enough to deserve a sequel, which ended up having even more fans than the first game. Warhammer: Vermintide 2 took all that made its predecessor a success and elevated it to a superior level. Enhanced gameplay features, a wider variety of missions, and other novelties soon caught the eye of the fans, making the game a hit. Now, more than six years after it was released, developer Fatshark has released a new and exciting Versus mode for the game.

Fight as a Skaven

Vermintide 2: Versus mode is an exciting addition to the game that allows two teams of four players to put their skills to the test against each other in thrilling battles. In this mode, four players play as the heroes while the other four take the role of the evil Skavens. While seasoned veterans of the game have spent countless hours fighting as their favourite heroes in the original game, this time they do not face AI-controlled Skaven anymore. This is quite noticeable in the game, especially when your opponents are playing as the rat-men for the first time. However, there are already many players who are mastering the new abilities and classes, and they will become even more challenging opponents once they master them.

Fatshark is still making some adjustments to this mode to keep the matches balanced, but the overall experience is a blast, and it comes at no additional cost. Vermintide 2: Versus is available for free to all those who own Warhammer: Vermintide 2.
