Blizzard Entertainment has outlined its plans for World of Warcraft in 2026 with the release of an official roadmap for the upcoming expansion, Midnight. The roadmap was revealed during the recent State of Azeroth presentation and provides an early look at how the expansion will evolve throughout its first year after launch, including major patches, experimental features, and narrative developments tied to the broader World Soul Saga.

Pre-expansion event and more

World of Warcraft Midnight is scheduled to launch in early 2026 and represents the second chapter of the multi-expansion storyline that began with The War Within.
