Xenoblade Chronicles 3 is revealed and gets a trailer
Nintendo Direct was a blast from JRPGs fans everywhere. In addition to the confirmation of the previously leaked Chrono Cross Remaster, the remake of the Front Mission series, and Live A Live, a previously Japan-exclusive JRPG, the next entry in Monolith's saga of RPGs, Xenoblade Chronicles 3, has been revealed along with a trailer.
The video showed several new characters, a brand new graphical style, blending realism and anime style of the previous entries, and a bit of what players can expect from the massive and welcome-to-explore world.
The new title will continue to bring a vast open world, the franchise's trademark, and a dense story. According to the official description, players will take on the role of Noah and Mio. They must take part in the conflicts between the nations of Keves and Agnus. The synopsis also reveals that there will be six more characters in the game and that the storyline will connect the previous events of Xenoblade and Xenoblade 2, set to take players into the future of the earlier worlds.
However, Executive Director Tetsuya Takahashi says that both players who have played the previous games and those who haven't will be able to fully enjoy the third game.

At the moment, details about Xenoblade Chronicles 3 are pretty scarce. With the game arriving to Switch, Nintendo's hybrid console will have all three main games in the series - leaving out only the spin-off Xenoblade Chronicles X, released for Wii U.
Xenoblade Chronicles 3 will arrive on Switch in September 2022. We will keep you posted on the deals when the time comes.
