Who are the murderers? Investigate the town and vote out the killers in Eville, a 3D social deduction game done completely within its world, just like Among Us. Take control of your player avatar and conduct the investigation, and convince others of your innocence—or lie to and betray your friends to take over the village!

The village of Eville is beset by a string of murders and you must find the culprit. Play a role as either a villager or a conspirator. As a villager, you can play as a guard, a barbarian, a thief, a detective, a ghost whisperer, and more. During the day, you can use your abilities to investigate the situation and vote on whom to kill. As a conspirator, your job is to slay all the citizens. Every night you can sneak into the homes of villagers to kill them or trick them into making the wrong decisions.

Will you be able to root out all the conspirators, or will they be able to wipe out all the villagers? Choose your side and take the win in Eville.

    FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions

Can I target specific players for a Night Action, even if they are in a house with multiple occupants?
Yes, Night Actions in Eville are generally precise. You can select a specific player to target, regardless of their location or who else might be present.
If I am a Seer and I investigate a player who is in a house with another player, do I get information on both players?
No, the Seer's ability only provides information on the single target player they choose to investigate, not anyone else in the same location.
As a Citizen, if I'm accused, can I prove my innocence using evidence gathered during the day, such as notes or item interactions?
While Citizens can present arguments, there's no direct mechanic to show 'evidence' during a trial in a traditional sense. Your defense relies on your words and the observed actions of others.
Can the Shapeshifter impersonate a player's role, or simply their appearance?
The Shapeshifter impersonates the appearance of other players; however, they do not gain their abilities. This adds a layer of deception and requires careful roleplaying.
If I am killed during the night, can I still use my ability the next day, assuming it has a daytime activation?
No, if you die during the night, you are out of the game and cannot use your abilities the next day.
Does the Burglar know the role of the player they are stealing from, or only the items they possess?
The Burglar only knows the items that the target player possesses. They do not gain information about the target's role.
Are all Night Actions revealed to the victim immediately, or are some delayed until the next day?
The immediate impact of Night Actions varies. Some are immediately apparent (like a murder), while others might have delayed effects that are revealed during the day.
If a player is in jail, can they still be targeted by Night Actions?
Yes, even if a player is jailed, they can still be affected by certain Night Actions. However, actions may be limited based on the role and the specific mechanics of that night's play.
Can players vote for themselves during the daytime trial phase?
Yes, players can vote for themselves during the daytime trial phase. This is a strategic choice, especially if trying to deflect suspicion or when their role relies on surviving.
Does the information a Seer gains about a player change if that player is a Shapeshifter?
Yes, the information a Seer receives about a Shapeshifter reflects their current disguise. This means the Seer sees the appearance of the person the Shapeshifter is currently impersonating.
