Nobody can deny that it's Grand Theft Auto series what has made Rockstar Games one of the most important video game developers. The series has been a huge success since the very first moment that the original GTA was launched, and every other game has contributed to making it even more legendary. The culmination of this process is GTA V, a game that was released in 2013 and that you can still count as one of the most popular all over the world. 

If you are one of those that have not played the game yet or you want to play it on a different platform, you need to know that GTA V is the new free game on Epic Games Store. The shop from the creators of Fortnite gives one or more free games every week to everyone that logs in to the platform and claim their copy. The only requirement is to have an Epic Games account but f you don't have one you can just create it for free. GTA V will be free for a limited time, and once you claim your copy it will be added to your library and you will be able to download it and play as much as you want.

 

 

The announcement of GTA V as this week's free game was going to be a surprise. In fact, the page still shows it like that, but thanks to an error it appeared for a very short time ahead of the reveal and as it happens with most things on the Internet, some people took a pic of it as a proof and it's been reported by several sites.

GTA V should also give you access to GTA Online, a multiplayer version of the game that adds a new world of possibilities to the already huge number of activities that you can experience in the base game. All you need to do is visiting Epic Games Store in a few hours and to claim GTA V for free.
